The baby-sitter that we hired for the summer through Craigslist forgot to tell us that she
was not so much of a nature girl. The day after her arrival at hour house, she litterally ran away,
leaving while we were at the beach. Actually we didn't miss her that much.

We baught the tickets with my 2 french girlfriends totally sneering.
Once there, we got caught by the very charming personality of the french singer,
and by the fact that we know all his songs, even if we are not fans :

Since I am a little girl I am hoping to see those famous deers, supposed to cross the road anytime in every possible forest.
Never happened, until this winter, in Yosemite park. I was petrified ! Actually it turned out that this park is filled with deers,
and we saw so many of them crossing the road that it killed the fun. Next time , I'm hoping for a bear.

Visiting a house in Mandeville Canyon (a zoning that allows horses) I saw my first Appaloosa,
originally from the native Indians Nez Perce. All those spots ! Beautiful.

Cormorants are cool birds : they float underwater and then they need to dry. And very classy with their all-blak look and long neck.

Agathe turned out to be a very agreable and rather effective baby-sitter.We loved her. Now back in Paris, she is currently working very hard on weekends to pay back the monstruous phone bill she left.
And the poor little crab in the beak of the seagull didn't make it : he really was trying his best to escape
but he got dropped on a rock and that was it.
